This morning, bellies full of tasty breakfast and panniers full of fresh fruit and cookies, we headed south back over the Ohio state line into Bowling Green. Despite some clouds and humidity, we had dry conditions the whole way. We did fight a little bit of wind, but with only 60 miles and a good amount of cover from trees along the way, it felt like a lighter day than we had for much of the trip. After crossing the river in Grand Rapids, Ohio, we were only one street away from the Adventure Cycling route again, which we will rejoin tomorrow and follow all the way to Cleveland.
In Bowling Green, we walked around the campus, had a gyro, and checked out the local brewery. We noticed a bunch of coasters from Oregon breweries on the wall, and learned that the owner is from Eugene.
We will be watching the weather tomorrow, but hope to make it to Huron, right on the shore Lake Erie.

So I will assume it was Pat not Ernie folding your clothes. LOL. So glad you were able to get a visit in on this trip
ReplyDeleteI am sure you felt well-fed and well-loved with your stop in Michigan. Ed's experience with laundry at his sister's is much like his laundry experience at home with his wife. Hmmmm. He is a master at getting other's to do things for him. Oh, he is a VP. lol
